You’re invited to join us for Holy Week worship at Georgetown First United Methodist Church and discover “the gift of change” God offers us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!
- Palm/Passion Sunday, April 14, 8:30 & 11:00am Worship. Seven youth will be confirmed in the Christian faith. Special music.
- Wednesday, April 17, 5:30pm fellowship meal followed by growth groups at 6:30pm and choir rehearsal at 7:30pm.
- Good Friday, April 19, 7:00pm, “Sensing the Savior’s Sacrifice,” a multi-sensory worship experience that includes Holy Communion.
- Holy Saturday, April 20, 11:00am, “Hour of Prayer” as we prepare our hearts for Easter worship.
- Easter Worship, April 21, 6:30am, Sunrise Service (outdoors), 8:30am & 11:00am with a Celebration of the Resurrection at both services of worship. At 9:45am families will gather in the sanctuary for the decoration of the old rugged cross with flowers and singing.
