You are invited to join your pastors and leaders for a special Hour of Prayer as we fast and intercede for our denomination, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00am. For those who are interested, the opening session of the United Methodist Church’s General Conference will be live-streamed in the sanctuary at 10:00 before we pray at 11:00.

Saturday, February 23 has been set aside as a Day of Prayer by the Council of Bishops. Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett and Bishop Al Gwinn, both from Kentucky, are members of the Praying Forward Team. The United Methodist Church’s General Conference is meeting Saturday, February 23-26 in St. Louis to take up the issue of human sexuality—specifically, our denomination’s longstanding restrictions on the ordination of self-avowed practicing homosexuals and same-sex marriage.
